Canto 25. Lust (Feb. 2017)

In canto twenty-five of the poem Dante climbs stairs to purgatory's
seventh terrace where the lustful earn their penance and are
purified amid flames not unlike what we saw in the inferno section.
On his way up to the seventh terrace his teachers explain the
workings of purgatory, how Spirit was breathed into formed bodies
on earth, and how those Spirits now exist as shades in purgatory.
