The Commedia's 12th Paradiso canto opens with a description
of two celestial circles moving in harmony with each other.
Twelve, which is two times six, six being a perfect number, and
which is also three times four, numbers that appear in Purgatorio,
is an orderly number, and because of that and the fact that it
is the number of months and zodiac signs, I call this gallery order.
